Defeats the entire fucking purpose of being an Isekai if you DONT REMEMBER THE OTHER WORLD! This is just fantasy then.

He retains his common logic and overall understanding from his prior life, good enough for me. He referred to himself as "Japanese", knew well enough what games are etc. All he lost are his specific life memories, which many isekai these days hardly touch on anyways. I find it to be a pretty solid watch so far, even weighing it against clearly superior isekai.

Glad someone touched on it, not only that, they made it pretty clear as to why his skill is overpowered, not just the usual "I know science so I know how to make it better", it gets tiring after a while tbh.
